Optional play measurement
Allow a random device ID to measure returning play and Daily participation? This is optional. The game, trophies and Daily progress work either way. Aggregate counts continue without this ID.
1. Who is responsible
16-0 Game publishes this independent fan game at 16-0game.com. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, contact hello@16-0game.com. This notice explains our practices; reading it or playing is not consent to optional measurement or advertising.
2. Your game stays yours
No account is required. Your browser uses localStorage for game preferences, language, stadium, Daily progress, streaks, trophies, personal bests and an optional display-name preference. These features do not depend on optional play measurement. Clearing all site data can remove saved progress; changing the measurement choice above does not.
3. Optional measurement and aggregate counts
Game starts and finishes, mode, Daily stage and wins can be counted in aggregate without a device identifier. Tagged social links contribute a campaign label and date to aggregate counts. These counts do not contain your chosen player names or leaderboard display name.
Only if you allow optional measurement above do we store a random identifier in localStorage and send it with game events. This pseudonymous identifier measures devices, not people. Private records include first and last activity dates and Daily challenge date, stage, started/finished status, best wins and qualification. We do not join these records to public leaderboard names or use them for cross-site tracking. You can withdraw permission above at any time.
4. Public results and contact messages
Submitting a leaderboard result is optional. Your chosen display name, record, rating, squad and game settings can be shown publicly with the submission date and Daily stage. Do not enter your real name or contact details if you do not want them public. Email messages contain the address and information you choose to send. We use them to answer questions and handle reports.
5. Hosting and advertising partners
Cloudflare hosts the site and leaderboard and provides cookieless Web Analytics. It processes network requests and operational information such as IP addresses; Web Analytics reports aggregate page views, referrers, device types and approximate countries without an analytics cookie or localStorage identifier. Ad placements and Google's advertising loader are disabled in the review build. If advertising is enabled after approval, Google and other vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites. Google's partner-site information, Ads Settings and industry opt-out tools are linked below. A Google-certified consent flow must be configured and tested before personalized ads are enabled for the EEA, UK or Switzerland. The play-measurement choice above is separate from advertising consent and does not replace that flow.
6. Retention and your choices
Optional device identifiers rotate after 90 days. Our daily server cleanup removes private device records after 90 days without activity and Daily device-stage records older than 90 days. Historical aggregate counts remain; they no longer identify a device. Leaderboard results remain for the public archive unless removed following a request or moderation. Browser saves remain until you clear them. Hosting providers control retention of their operational logs under their own policies.
Declining measurement stops future identifier-based events and removes the identifier from this browser; it does not erase older server records immediately. For access or deletion before scheduled expiry, contact us before removing your identifier, or include the relevant public display name and approximate submission date for a leaderboard request. We may ask for enough information to locate a record safely. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a copy of data or complain to a data-protection authority.
7. Children and changes
The site is not directed at children under 13. Please contact us if a child has submitted personal information. We do not sell contact messages or private play records. Advertising partners may process data under their own policies when ads are enabled. We update this notice when our practices change and show the revision date above.
